Memories on Mercer Street Mural Project

The Memories on Mercer Street mural was designed by the talented muralist Ellen Elmes, based on stories from the community of our beloved downtown. It was painted by RiffRaff artist Lacey Vilandry, assisted by Richard Shrewsbury and Rita Montrosse of Holler Gallery, and dozens of creative community members. Thanks to RiffRaff artists Billy Morgan & Robert Blankenship for filming the process & Billy for editing this recap video, & BIG THANKS to West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture and History for making it possible.
